Survey Assistant

Universal Surveys Inc. has been providing comprehensive preliminary engineering, legal and construction surveying services to the oil and gas industry since 1986. We are currently looking for a motivated individual to fill a Survey Assistant position(s) out of our Calgary/Edmonton office(s).
Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Party Chief in the collection and management of field data on legal and construction survey projects.
- The organization and maintenance of various pieces of field equipment related to your duties.
- Contributing to a safe a positive work place.
Requirements:
- Ideally a graduate of a post secondary program related to engineering technologies.
- Have an understanding of legal and/or construction surveying.
- Have experience with the latest survey equipment.
- Willing to work outside of Edmonton/Calgary for regular shifts.
Preferred qualities:
- Positive attitude, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Acceptable time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and software enhancements.
